Spray mounting is quick and inexpensive, but does not ensure a lasting bond. There are a number of spray adhesives available.

The bond is achieved by applying pressure with a roller or squeegee. Be sure to apply a thorough, even layer of adhesive. For the best bond, allow the mounted piece to dry under an even weight such as a lite of glass.

Be sure to control the spray. Wear a mask and use a ventilation fan to help reduce the fumes and the airborne particles.

Some very slick papers will resist spray adhesives, especially during times of high humidity.

To ensure a good bond, the spray must thoroughly coat the back of the paper and the mounting board.
